McGill researchers are licensing a tool to help patients safely reduce medications that could be unnecessary — or even harmful.
Nearly two-thirds of Canadian seniors take over five medications a day, and the overprescription rate rises in long-term care. To help optimize care, 'MedSafer' is being trialled to help healthcare professionals deprescribe medications.
